Job Description

After School, Monday-Friday Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with individuals with autism and other developmental disorders, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care and support, helping clients achieve their personal goals through evidence-based practices. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA. Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes. Assist in developing care plans that address the unique needs of each client. Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community environments. Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and techniques. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with organizational policies. Collaborate with other professionals involved in the care of clients to ensure a holistic approach to treatment. Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in applied behavior analysis. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and practices. Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or with developmental disabilities. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques and methodologies. Proficiency in medical terminology related to patient care and documentation. Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data effectively. Excellent communication skills for educating clients and families about care plans. Compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on improving quality of life.
