Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement evidence-based behavioral interventions. Your primary focus will be on supporting clients in developing essential skills, reducing challenging behaviors, and promoting independence through personalized care plans. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Collect, record, and analyze data related to client behaviors and progress to inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting, to promote independence. Use positive reinforcement strategies to encourage desired behaviors and manage behavioral challenges effectively. Support clients during therapy sessions by teaching new skills across communication, socialization, and self-care domains. Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Collaborate with team members, caregivers, and educators to ensure consistency in behavioral interventions and care plans. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior management strategies compassionately. Proficiency in data collection methods and maintaining detailed medical records. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health and special education settings. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and other professionals. Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
