Duties Implement evidence-based ABA therapy protocols tailored to each client's care plan, ensuring consistency and effectiveness. Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene routines, promoting independence. Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Support clients in developing communication skills through teaching techniques aligned with applied behavior analysis principles. Maintain detailed medical documentation and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Collaborate with supervising behavior analysts, educators, and caregivers to ensure seamless support across environments such as home and school settings. Communicate regularly with clients' families about progress, behavior management strategies, and next steps in therapy. Requirements Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification prior to or shortly after employment. Experience working directly with children, especially those with autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disabilities. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior intervention plans effectively. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards such as HIPAA compliance. Strong communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement. Prior experience working in home-based behavioral therapy or school settings is highly desirable.
