Job Description

Come join our team! Phoenix ABA Services is looking for an RBT to join our team to work with a client in home in North Richland Hills, 76180, and transition to our Keller clinic, 76248 for a hybrid treatment model in both locations. We are a BCBA-owned, small start-up company that wants staff who are committed to what they do and feel valued by the people they work with. We want someone who has fun working with kids on the spectrum! This job is both rewarding and challenging, and burnout is a real concern. We value communication and transparency with our families and each other. At the end of the day, the clients would not make progress without you!
What you will do:
  • Provide direct client care under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Collect data online (Motivity)
  • Follow behavior management and skill acquisition protocols
  • Communicate with stakeholders appropriately and professionally
  • Assist behavior analysts with skill acquisition goals
  • Maintain client dignity
  • Leave your work environment organized at the end of the session
  • Attend training/meetings as required by the company
  • Assist BCBA in the preparation of client materials necessary for your therapy session
  • Follow BACB ethical guidelines and maintain a yearly RBT credential Who we are looking for:
  • High school diploma, GED, or college degree (preferred)
  • RBT certification
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Experience working with pediatric populations with special needs (at least 6 months)
  • Time management skills, consistency of coming to work, observation skills, and analytical skills
  • Willingness to work in the home with the client (parent/guardian required to be in the home)
  • Can communicate professionally yet effectively on feedback to the parent/guardian at the end of the session about the client.
Physical Requirements:
The ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time. The ability to move quickly if necessary. The ability to lift at least 40 lbs without strain.
