Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Take the next step in your career as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supporting students in a dynamic school-based setting near Plano, TX. This full-time, on-site contract position (August 2026 - May 2027) offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across various school sites while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. As an itinerant BCBA, you'll deliver vital ABA services to both general and special education students and will be instrumental in shaping the educational landscape throughout the district.
What We're Looking For:
Current, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification for the State of Texas Prior school-based experience is highly preferred Commitment to supporting diverse learners, including those in general and special education Flexibility and adaptability to meet needs across multiple school sites Strong communication skills for both staff training and student interaction Ability to supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) Must meet all credentialing requirements, including timely completion of fingerprinting through TEA (if not already cleared)
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop evidence-based intervention plans Collaborate with educators and related service providers to implement behavioral supports Deliver ongoing training and consultation for school staff Provide supervision and guidance to RBTs working in classroom settings Analyze data and modify interventions to ensure student growth and success Travel between campuses within the district as assignment dictates This role puts you at the forefront of transformative change, addressing disproportionality and promoting equity for students district-wide.
