The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans and support individuals with developmental disabilities. This role is crucial in helping clients achieve their goals through applied behavior analysis techniques and effective behavior management strategies. Duties Implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles. Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress to support ongoing treatment adjustments. Assist in the development of care plans that address the specific needs of each client. Provide direct patient care while ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Engage clients in therapeutic activities designed to promote skill acquisition and improve behavioral health. Maintain accurate medical documentation as required by regulatory standards. Collaborate with team members to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavior management and therapy techniques. Requirements Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques is essential. Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices is preferred. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Strong understanding of patient care practices and behavioral health concepts. Ability to collect research data accurately and efficiently for program evaluation purposes. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members. A compassionate approach towards client care, demonstrating patience and empathy in all interactions. Minimum of 1 year of experience A reliable mode of transportation.
