Job Description
Overview Join our team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with autism and developmental disabilities. At our clinic, you'll work one-on-one with children to teach important communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills using evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies. You'll work closely with BCBAs, caregivers, and other members of the clinical team to provide individualized, compassionate care and help each child reach their goals. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is patient, energetic, dependable, and passionate about working with children. Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a BCBA. Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in a clinic-based setting. Teach communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including toileting, feeding, grooming, and dressing as needed. Collect accurate and timely data on client progress and behavior. Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation. Support clients in developing independence and generalizing skills across people and environments. Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, and other members of the treatment team. Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect client confidentiality. Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development. Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred/required. Previous experience working with children, autism, ABA, special education, or developmental disabilities is preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. Patient, dependable, compassionate, and comfortable working with children. Ability to follow individualized treatment plans and collect behavioral data accurately. Ability to assist with ADLs and safely support clients during therapy sessions. Willingness to learn and receive ongoing training and supervision. Why Join Our Team?
