Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with ASD. As an RBT, you will work closely with a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to deliver personalized care that promotes independence, skill development, and improved quality of life. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA, ensuring consistency and effectiveness in treatment delivery Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and response to interventions accurately using electronic health records (EHR) management systems Engage clients through motivating activities that promote skill acquisition across communication, social, daily living, and adaptive behaviors Collaborate with team members to modify strategies based on client progress and changing needs Support clients with co-occurring disorders by integrating techniques from addiction counseling, psychiatric patient care, and gender issues counseling when appropriate Maintain a safe and supportive environment that respects clients' dignity and promotes positive behavioral change. Requirements Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or eligibility to obtain certification prior to employment Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders and disabilities preferred Strong communication skills with an energetic approach to engaging clients of diverse backgrounds Compassionate attitude with a commitment to ethical standards in behavioral health practice Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development related to art therapy, co-occurring disorders, and other relevant fields This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your career in behavioral health while making a meaningful difference.
