As a BCBA with Creative Behavioral Connections, you will provide essential services to help individuals and families through their journey.Your responsibilities include:
Support and Supervision:
- Maintain monthly billable hours as assigned.
- Be available to staff during their session hours via phone and/or email (i.e., until 7:30 pm).
- Function in a supervisory capacity, overseeing all areas of programming, including the training and supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians and Assistant Behavior Analysts.
Program Development and Implementation:
- Assist in the development, facilitation, and follow-up training in Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Facilitate and develop resources and support information for clients and their families.
- Provide model teaching and direct instructional support, including supervision/teaching, group instruction, and in-situ instruction to other support professionals.
- Assist in the development and implementation of assessment tools for conducting functional behavior analyses and developing behavior strategies.
Training and Continuous Improvement:
- Provide ongoing support and training to Assistant Behavior Analysts, Registered Behavior Technicians, and other support roles. Ensure ongoing training and supervision of paraprofessional staff in ABA principles, methodology, and behavior reduction strategies.
- Create and maintain a data collection system to establish baselines, ensure programmatic efficacy, and analyze data frequently to guide programming.
Behavior Plans and Consultation:
- Develop behavior plans focused on teaching strategies to reduce problematic behaviors and promote pro-social behaviors.
- Review, sign off on, and provide field supervision for behavior plans to ensure fidelity of implementation.
- Serve as a liaison to the families of clients, providing quarterly check-ins to ensure satisfaction with services.
- Provide consultation services and maintain ongoing communication with all constituents (support staff, parents, community, and community agencies).
Professional Development and Compliance:
- Stay current with literature, new research findings, and resources. Complete continuing education courses to maintain BCBA certification and LBA.
- Maintain all data, paperwork, and communication between personal care staff and families, providing ongoing feedback to team members.
- Meet with the Director of ABA Services monthly or as needed to report progress and issues with supervisees, with urgent issues reported immediately.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of a graduate degree (master's or doctoral) in Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or a degree from a program in which the candidate completed and ABAI Verified Course Sequence
- Successful completion of practicum/supervised independent fieldwork and/or formal training in the analysis of behavior and intervention strategies training related to working with clients who have autism spectrum disorders (ASD), their parents, and other agencies working with client
- Ability to demonstrate competence in behavior management skills, instructional skills, oral and written communication, organizational skills and interpersonal relations
- Ability to work with a variety of clients in regard to age, functionality, and with minimal direction
- Current BCBA Certification and state Licensure needed to practice independently in Utah
- Knowledge of behavioral interventions, assessing programming needs, and implementation
- Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook systems
- Ability to utilize a fax machine, phone system, and other office materials as necessary for the position
- Ability to respond quickly to phone calls, text messages, and emails
- Current on all required trainings/certifications
- Transportation that is reliable and insured in the state of Utah(Driver's insurance on file with HR)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods.
- Ability to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods.
- Physical presence at the assigned job location, which may include home, school, and community placements.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between different job sites within Utah.
- Valid Utah driver's license and insurance in good standing.
- Valid CPR certification.
