Join Our Growing ABA Team Empowering Minds 4 Change is seeking an experienced, dependable, and compassionate Lead Behavior Technician (Lead BT/RBT) to join our growing ABA team. This position is ideal for an experienced BT/RBT who is ready to take the next step in their ABA career. In addition to providing direct ABA services, the Lead BT/RBT will support assigned Behavior Technicians in the field, model proper implementation of treatment programs, assist with parent/caregiver support, and work closely with our clinical team to promote consistent, high-quality services. Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans under clinical supervision. Implement skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction programs with fidelity. Collect accurate and timely data on client progress. Use appropriate reinforcement and evidence-based ABA strategies. Complete session documentation accurately and within required timeframes. Maintain professionalism and appropriate boundaries with clients and families. Lead BT/RBT Responsibilities As a Lead BT/RBT, you will take on additional responsibilities beyond direct therapy, including: Provide in-person support and guidance to assigned Behavior Technicians. Observe BT implementation of client programs and provide appropriate modeling and support. Help BTs understand treatment programs, behavior plans, data collection procedures, and session expectations. Model proper ABA techniques and professional interactions with clients and families. Support treatment fidelity and consistency across assigned cases. Identify areas where BTs may need additional training or clinical support. Communicate clinical concerns, barriers, and significant changes to the supervising clinician. Participate in case reviews and team meetings as needed. Serve as a professional and dependable point of support for assigned BTs and families. Parent & Caregiver Support Build professional and collaborative relationships with parents and caregivers. Support caregiver participation during ABA services. Model strategies and interventions as directed by the supervising clinician. Provide appropriate updates regarding sessions and client progress. Communicate caregiver concerns to the clinical team. Participate in parent/caregiver training and support activities within the scope of the position and under appropriate clinical supervision. Documentation & Quality Standards Maintain accurate and timely session notes and data collection. Ensure assigned programs are implemented according to the client's treatment plan. Follow company documentation procedures and payer requirements. Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements. Immediately communicate significant incidents or clinical concerns according to company policy. Maintain professional and ethical standards in all client and staff interactions. What We're Looking For Required 40-hour RBT training certificate Previous hands-on ABA experience Experience working with children or individuals with autism and/or developmental disabilities Strong understanding of ABA principles and data collection Ability to accurately follow treatment and behavior intervention plans Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong reliability and attendance Ability to work independently in home and community settings Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to assigned client locations Preferred Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Previous Lead BT, senior BT, training, or mentoring experience 6+ months of ABA experience Experience supporting or training other Behavior Technicians Experience communicating directly with parents/caregivers Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus Training & Professional Development We provide structured support to help our Lead BT/RBTs succeed.
