Job Description

Job Summary The Lead Behavior Interventionist is an experienced member of the Behavior Interventionist team who provides direct therapeutic intervention and behavioral support to assigned child(ren) while serving as a resource and mentor to other Behavior Interventionists. In addition to maintaining a caseload, the Lead Behavior Interventionist supports program quality through coaching, training, and guidance related to the implementation of individualized behavior support plans and best practices. Working collaboratively with supervisors, clinicians, educators, families, and service providers, the Lead Behavior Interventionist helps ensure consistency in service delivery, promotes positive outcomes for students, and assists with onboarding and supporting new staff. This position follows the academic calendar and focuses on school-year services; Lead Behavior Interventionists do not participate in summer programming. Education/Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree, or pursuing bachelor's degree. Significant experience working as a Behavior Interventionist in the LCMHS Redwood Program.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree, or pursuing bachelor's degree, in the human services field.
License/Certifications Required:
Valid drivers' license, current automobile registration
