P osition
Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support students in a special education setting in Wilmington, Vermont. This is a full-time opportunity working with elementary-aged students (K-5th grade) across two school locations . You will play a key role in providing behavioral and academic support tailored to each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group behavioral support to students Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA or school team Support students with academic, social, and emotional development Collect and track data on student progress Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers Maintain a structured, positive, and supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
Active RBT Certification required Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children or in a school setting Associate's degree OR completion of the ParaPro Assessment Experience working in special education settings preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills

1-4 students throughout the day (varies based on IEPs and school needs; may include 1:1 or small group support)
