Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Advance your career making a meaningful impact by supporting students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) on a contract basis through the end of the school year. This temporary, in-person opportunity is designed to cover a leave, offering flexible part-time hours—between 10-15 per week—in a dynamic school environment located near Auburn, WA. As a BCBA in this assignment, you'll have a focused caseload, allowing you to utilize your expertise and develop strong relationships with students and staff alike. Your core responsibilities will include Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), designing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), and supervising a behavior technician as they work through an established short-term plan. This hands-on role is ideal for professionals who thrive in educational settings and excel in coaching and supporting others as part of a collaborative team.
Key qualifications and desired experience:
Active BCBA certification required Previous experience with school-aged populations highly preferred Strong background in conducting FBAs and developing BIPs Proven skill supervising or mentoring behavior technicians Ability to work independently and maintain clear documentation Commitment to providing high-quality behavioral services in-person Responsibilities include: Performing Functional Behavior Assessments for assigned students Developing and guiding the implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans Supervising one behavior technician, offering feedback and ensuring fidelity to established plans Collaborating with school staff and participating in team meetings as needed Documenting progress and communicating findings to stakeholders Step into a role that offers a unique blend of autonomy and teamwork, allowing you to see your impact firsthand.
