Job Description
Blue Water Behavioral Consulting, LLC is looking for a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with a small caseload of preschool aged children who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. Sessions will take place primarily at our learning center in Burlington, WA. Work hours are between 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM Mon-Fri for 15-30 hours/week total.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Passion for working with children
- Passion for helping individuals with special needs reach their full potential
- Energetic and enthusiastic!
- Strong organizational skills & reliable and dependable
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Valid Driver's License, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation
- Absence of any criminal history (per a 10-year federal, state, and county background check)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related field. Applicants currently enrolled in an accredited college/university who are actively pursuing a degree in one of the aforementioned areas will also be strongly considered.
- 1+ year experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- 1+ year experience working with typically developing children
- Completion of college coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- 1+ year experience delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) license through WA Dept of Health
CPR Certification Pay/Benefits:

Job Responsibilities:
- Implement client's plan and programs under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
- Provide high quality one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to individuals with autism spectrum disorders, with an emphasis on helping the client learn through play-based instruction and natural environment teaching, and fostering critical communication skills.
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior using specified methods. Complete all end of session documentation for patient's file in a thorough and timely manner.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all interactions.
