Pay:
$65-$80 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Position Overview TactStaff EDU is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join a K-12 school district in Lakewood, Washington for a full-time, onsite position. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced BCBA who enjoys working collaboratively with school staff, supporting students with behavioral needs, and providing meaningful behavioral services within an educational environment. The BCBA will provide behavioral support across the K-12 setting, supervise Behavior Technicians (BTs), complete behavioral referrals and assessments, and collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and school-based teams. Responsibilities Provide school-based behavioral consultation and support for K-12 students. Conduct behavioral observations, assessments, and referrals as needed. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention strategies and behavior support plans. Supervise and provide guidance to Behavior Technicians (BTs) working with students. Meet with school staff weekly to review student progress, behavioral concerns, data, and intervention strategies. Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, administrators, related service providers, and families as appropriate. Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to monitor student progress and make data-driven recommendations. Provide staff training, coaching, and consultation related to behavior management and evidence-based behavioral interventions. Support implementation of positive behavioral supports and strategies within the classroom and school environment. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute behavioral expertise to student support planning. Maintain accurate documentation and records related to behavioral services, assessments, interventions, and student progress. Ensure services are delivered in accordance with applicable school district requirements and professional standards. Qualifications Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field. Current BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) certification. Experience providing behavioral services in a school-based or educational setting preferred. Experience working with students across the K-12 population preferred. Experience supervising or supporting Behavior Technicians (BTs). Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), behavior assessment, data collection, and evidence-based behavioral interventions. Excellent communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary school team.
