- $3,250 a week 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Referral program Qualifications Working with individuals with developmental disabilities CPR Certification Teamwork CPR Master's degree BCBA Team motivation (leadership skill) Full Job Description Job Overview (Full time and Part time Available): Under the direction of the Clinical Director, the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for working with program directors, supervisors, program coordinators, and direct staff to ensure that students with behavioral concerns served by the district are appropriately supported.
Responsibilities:
Assessment :
Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals' behavior patterns, strengths, and areas of need. Utilize standardized assessment tools, direct observation, interviews, and behavioral assessments to gather data. Analyze assessment results to formulate hypotheses regarding the function and maintaining variables of behaviors. Behavior Analysis- Apply principles of behavior analysis to understand the antecedents, behaviors, and consequences influencing individuals' actions. Identify and define target behaviors for intervention, utilizing measurable and observable criteria. Develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to address challenging behaviors and promote skill acquisition. Intervention
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions tailored to individuals' unique needs and circumstances. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists, educators, and caregivers, to coordinate intervention strategies. Provide training and support to clients, families, and caregivers on implementing behavior management techniques and strategies. Data Collection and Analysis
- Establish data collection systems to monitor progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions. Collect and analyze data on target behaviors, treatment fidelity, and outcomes to make data-driven decisions. Modify intervention plans as needed based on ongoing assessment and analysis of data. Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of assessment results, intervention plans, progress notes, and reports.
- Stay current with advances in behavior analysis through continuing education, training workshops, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in psychology, behavior analysis, special education, or a related field.
- Certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Required
- Strong knowledge of principles and techniques of behavior analysis, including applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Experience conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and developing behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral disorders, and their families.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines governing the practice of behavior analysis.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards of conduct.
- Strong leadership skills including problem-solving, critical thinking, vision, personal and group accountability, coaching, mentoring, and inspiring others to excel, and developing plans of action that produce positive results for the individuals served and the agency as a whole
