Job Description

Position Title:
Behavior Technician Summary:
Behavior Technicians provide direct clinical services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Services are delivered either in school, in center, or a combination of both under the supervision of a BCBA or senior staff. The hours for this position will be Monday through Friday, 8:00p-5:00p (fulltime) or 12p-5p (parttime).
Essential Duties:
Provide 1:1 and group ABA therapy following skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans Accurately collect, record, and summarize behavioral data Assist in assessments and preparation of therapy materials Maintain safe, clean, and organized environments Collaborate with families, BCBAs, and other team members
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to lift 50 lbs 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, ABA, or related field Experience working in schools, daycares, or community settings Experience working with children with
Autism Spectrum Disorder RBT Additional Requirements:
Must pass background checks and comply with HIPAA confidentiality standards Ability to assume physical postures (kneeling, squatting, standing, moving quickly) as needed for client safety This job description in no way implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee. Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
