This is not a standard delivery driver position. This role involves delivering, setting up, servicing, and troubleshooting large and durable medical equipment in patient homes and healthcare facilities. Represent King Medical Supply professionally while building positive relationships with patients, caregivers, and facility staff. This is an in-the-field, independent role requiring strong technical ability, physical capability, and professional communication skills. This is a unique opportunity to help establish and grow our Northern California operations. The successful candidate will be entrusted with managing a local service territory, maintaining inventory and equipment, and providing exceptional service to our customers throughout the region. Position Overview Based in the San Jose area • Responsible for managing daily deliveries throughout the Bay Area and Central Coast Maintain a local storage unit and company vehicle Must live nearby and be able to safely park a company vehicle or manage nearby in a secure lot Why Join Us? Competitive pay and benefits Advancement opportunities Supportive team environment What You'll Do Deliver, set up, and pick up medical equipment in facilities and homes Provide patient and caregiver instruction on equipment use Troubleshoot equipment issues in the field Manage daily routes, schedules, and documentation Maintain vehicle, inventory, and storage organization Job Requirements Experience Minimum 2 years of DME field experience required Experience with equipment such as hospital beds, lifts, CPAP/BiPAP, NPWT, and wheelchairs Delivery-only backgrounds (Uber, Amazon, courier) do not qualify without relevant DME or medical logistics experience Schedule Five 8-hour shifts per week (days may vary; we deliver 7 days/week) On-call hours as needed required (some nights and weekends) Weekend and overtime availability as needed Other Requirements Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 1 point, no DUI) High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to read and follow instructions in English Bilingual is a plus Responsibilities Maintain a clean, organized satellite storage location, ensuring inventory is accurate, secure, and ready for daily deliveries. Coordinate equipment transfers and inventory with our Northern California operations as needed. Manage inventory and ensure equipment readiness Accurately document equipment movement, inventory changes, deliveries, pickups, and service activities. Verify daily manifests and load equipment accurately Deliver and install medical equipment safely and correctly Confirm delivery logistics with patients ahead of time Comfortable using mobile devices and electronic documentation systems. Obtain required documentation and signatures Complete daily reports and documentation Communicate issues, delays, or safety concerns Assist with troubleshooting and problem resolution in the field Qualifications & Skills Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Dependable, reliable, and self-motivated Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to lift up to 70 pounds Preferred Familiarity with the San Jose area, supporting the Bay Area and Central Coast regions Experience managing inventory or satellite operations Benefits Paid Holidays and PTO 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Retirement plan Vision insurance Medical, 401(k), and Profit Sharing Opportunities for advancement
