Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Clean/disinfect infusion pumps according to manufacturer specifications. 2. Perform preventative maintenance (PM), and safety inspections on biomedical equipment. 3. With minimal supervision, evaluate biomedical equipment issues and implement appropriate repairs. 4. Follow appropriate policies, procedures and protocols and complete necessary documentation. 5. Maintain daily communications with Director of Clinical Operations and operational teams, to ensure resolution and proper follow-up of equipment demands and customer satisfaction concerns. 6. Work as a member of the team by assisting other team members on basic and complex repairs, when needed. 7. Document all repair actions and submit reports/summaries according to schedule set by management. 8. Ensure proper care of tools and test equipment, as well as maintain scheduled calibration. 9. Maintain approved parts inventory. 10. Perform light warehousing duties including receiving and shipping of infusion pumps. 11. Enhance and maintain technical knowledge of current standards, codes, and procedures regarding the safe and effective use of medical equipment through formal instruction. 12. Additional certifications/training, as needed, per management requirements 13. Study technical manuals and attend training sessions provided by equipment manufacturers to maintain current knowledge. 14. Travel and onsite work may be required. Ensure compliance with the organization's Code of Conduct and all applicable laws, including HIPAA regulations for the protection of sensitive information. 16. Perform any additional duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department and organization. The employee is required to use hands to operate vehicles an office equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 20 pounds.
