We are seeking a Simulation Technician to join our team and help students build exceptional clinical skills. In this role, you will manage and operate advanced simulation technology, creating lifelike patient scenarios that prepare learners for real-world patient care.
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Travel:
Occasional travel to other St. Luke's locations as needed
Hourly Rate:
$27-$32 depending on experience
What You Can Expect:
Operate and control high-fidelity, software-driven manikins during simulation scenarios Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot simulation equipment and supporting software Serve as the "voice of the patient" to enhance realism and engagement Coordinate and schedule simulation sessions, ensuring all equipment and materials are prepared Order, track, and maintain simulation supplies and inventory Collaborate with instructors and team members to deliver seamless, high-quality training experiences
Requirements Education:
Associate degree or equivalent experience in a technical, healthcare, or IT-related field
Experience:
2+ years of experience in technology support, equipment management, or IT troubleshooting Preferred Qualifications Experience with simulation software or other advanced technical equipment Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflows Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Comfortable working in a collaborative, education-focused environment
