This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about technical troubleshooting, equipment repair, and customer service within a healthcare environment. As an Equipment Service Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining compliance with industry standards while providing exceptional support to healthcare facilities. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair of biomedical equipment in accordance with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications and industry standards Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting using advanced test equipment for biomedical devices Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to accurately diagnose issues Utilize hand tools and specialized test equipment to perform repairs on electro-mechanical components Maintain detailed records of service activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Ensure compliance with biomedical regulatory standards such as ISO standards and healthcare regulations Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with healthcare professionals and resolving technical issues promptly Skills Strong mechanical knowledge for biomedical equipment repair and maintenance Proficiency in electrical diagnostics, schematic reading, and interpretation Experience with OEM equipment specifications and calibration procedures Skilled in troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical components within medical electronics Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and documentation Ability to operate test equipment safely and effectively for biomedical devices Knowledge of biomedical engineering principles within healthcare settings and regulatory compliance standards Excellent customer service skills with a focus on professional communication in field service environments Basic computer hardware understanding relevant to medical device troubleshooting Strong mechanical skills for DME (Durable Medical Equipment) maintenance and repair Ability to follow ISO standards and adhere to biomedical regulatory guidelines Engineering troubleshooting expertise for advanced electronics issues in biomedical equipment Join us as an Equipment Service Technician to make a meaningful impact by ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of critical medical devices.
