We are seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician and Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, uncrating, and inspecting medical-grade equipment, including surgical tables, lights, surgical booms, and sterilization processing department (SPD) equipment. The role involves installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure proper functionality and compliance with industry standards. Experience in electrical and HVAC is a plus. While we provide comprehensive training on all products, a biomedical background is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Uncrate, check-in, and inspect medical-grade equipment upon delivery. Install, maintain, and repair surgical tables, lights, surgical booms, and other medical equipment. Perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs. Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards and safety regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and facility teams during installations. Work independently when required while maintaining strong communication with the team.
Qualifications:
Certification or training from an accredited technical school (Biomedical, Electrical, or Mechanical fields preferred). 2-3 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and installation. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience in electrical and HVAC systems is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Healthcare or laboratory experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
