Job Description

Lead Medical Equipment Technician (MET) Concord, NC Carolina's Hometown Respiratory is currently seeking a full-time Lead Medical Equipment Technician (MET) for our Concord, North Carolina location. In this role, you will oversee daily delivery and warehouse operations, lead and train staff, ensure safe and accurate medical distribution, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. Pay:
$45,000 - $52,000/year, offer dependent on experience
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8 AM - 5 PM The right candidate will have: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) Previous experience in home medical equipment, healthcare logistics, medical supply delivery, warehouse operations, or related field preferred Prior leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to train, mentor, and motivate team members Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities Proficient with computer systems and electronic documentation Ability to prioritize multiple urgent tasks and working effectively in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME), oxygen, and related equipment preferred Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to lift, move, and transport medical equipment safely Strong commitment to safety, quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Our Lead MET will: Lead and support the daily activities of the Medical Equipment Technicians (METs) and warehouse staff Coordinate staff scheduling, route planning, and workload distribution Train, coach, and evaluate MET team members Approve PTO requests and maintain records Deliver medical equipment and supplies to customers as needed Instruct customers on the proper use, care, and maintenance of home medical equipment Perform setup, inspections, and function checks on new and used medical equipment Complete all required delivery, setup, and patient instruction documentation accurately Confirm deliveries and maintain records with company systems Maintain accountability for oxygen equipment, cryogenic vessels, cylinders, and serialized inventory Coordinate maintenance and repair of company vehicles Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Participate in continuous improvement and operational performance initiatives Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally Does this sound like the position for you?
