Job Description

Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Biomedical Imaging Specialist II or III in Philadelphia, PA to work for an innovative and growing Healthcare Network. The Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance (PM), calibration, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of biomedical and imaging equipment. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality assurance requirements, maintaining accurate technical documentation. Review FDA, manufacturer, and recall notifications; investigate equipment-related incident reports to support patient safety. Provide in-service training and technical presentations to staff on equipment operation and electrical safety. Participate in on-call rotation, flexible scheduling, vendor training, and support across multiple hospital locations as needed. Qualifications High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree preferred; OEM or modality-specific training strongly preferred. 3+ years of progressive experience performing component and/or board-level repair in medical imaging (5+ years preferred). Experience supporting modalities such as Ultrasound, X-Ray, Cath Lab, Anesthesia, or related imaging systems.
Preferred certifications:
CBET, CRES, Military (DoD) BMET, or OEM/vendor repair certifications. Strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of QA/PM standards, and proficiency with CMMS/work order systems. Compensation Competitive base salary commensurate with experience and certifications. Overtime and on-call compensation eligibility.
