1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment requiring EP, cath, and structural heart procedure experience. Details Work in a cardiac cath lab with 3 procedure rooms running simultaneously, staffed by 3 team members per room Case types include EP procedures (ablations, EP studies, device implants such as pacemakers and ICDs, lead extractions, cardioversions) Cath procedures include left and right heart catheterizations, transvenous pacing, Impella insertion/removal, and peripheral cases Structural heart cases include Watchman implants, valve procedures, PFO closures, and ECMO Average case volume is 5-6 cath procedures per day and 2-5 EP cases per day depending on procedure type 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Call requirements are situational but typically limited to about 7 days per month, including one Friday-Sunday weekend and four weeknights Weeknight call runs from 5:00 PM to 6:30 AM and weekend call runs from 5:00 PM Friday to 6:30 AM Monday Requirements License required if applicable Additional Information Perform EP, cath, and structural heart procedures as part of a multidisciplinary team
