Experienced Echocardiogram Technician needed for Cardiac and Vascular studies

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing Cardiac and Vascular diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality imaging while providing excellent patient care. The Ultrasound sonographer will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assist in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. Responsibilities Perform sonographic examinations, including but not limited to Echo, Carotid, Upper and Lower extremities, abdominal, pelvic, testicular ultrasounds and Vascular studies. Utilize appropriate medical imaging techniques to obtain clear and accurate images for diagnostic purposes. Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns. Maintain a thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology to accurately assess images. Collaborate with physicians to discuss findings and assist in developing treatment plans. Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during all procedures. Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and examination results. Stay updated on advancements in sonography technology and best practices in patient care. Qualifications Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography Cardiac and Vascular or equivalent is required. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostic radiology, and physiology is essential. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members. Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism in a clinical setting. and safety protocols within a medical environment is necessary.
