$40.00 - $53.00 per hour (based on experience) About This Opportunity Join our dynamic cardiology team as an Echocardiogram Technician and make a meaningful difference in patients' lives every day. We're seeking a skilled and compassionate cardiac imaging professional to deliver exceptional diagnostic care using state-of-the-art ultrasound technology. In this role, you'll perform both routine and complex cardiac ultrasound procedures with precision, directly contributing to accurate diagnoses and improved patient outcomes. Work Environment This position offers variety and flexibility, with rotations between our modern, fully-equipped facilities in Laguna Hills, Irvine, and Costa Mesa based on patient and clinic needs. You'll work in a collaborative, supportive environment where your expertise is valued and your contributions directly impact patient care. Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures using advanced techniques consistent with clinical protocols and ultrasound safety best practices Triage patients appropriately according to acuity level, verify patient identification, review orders for appropriateness, and document relevant clinical history Acquire and submit precise, comprehensive exam images with detailed worksheets and templates for physician interpretation Maintain accurate, compliant records in NextGen (EHR), ICAEL Logbook, and laboratory databases to support accreditation standards Demonstrate consistent adherence to clinical policies, procedures, and safety protocols Maintain current professional credentials (RDCS or RCS) and fulfill continuing education requirements to support laboratory accreditation Contribute to department excellence and team success through collaborative teamwork and additional responsibilities as needed Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program (CAAHEP-approved or CMA-approved) Current RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) certification 2-4 years of echocardiography experience Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology Demonstrated knowledge of safety practices and emergency protocols Proficiency with ultrasound systems and imaging technologies Ability to follow detailed examination protocols with precision and accuracy Exceptional customer service skills and professional communication abilities Preferred Qualifications EKG interpretation and arrhythmia recognition experience Experience with advanced cardiac imaging techniques Familiarity with NextGen EHR systems Why Join Our Team?
