1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 3+ years of cardiac cath lab experience and required California CRRT and ARRT-R licensure for a 13-week assignment. Details Interventional cardiac cath lab with structural heart capabilities 3 procedure rooms with an average daily census of 15 Monday-Friday day shifts, 5x8 hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM) 3 call shifts required within a 2-week period Weekend call required every 6 weeks Epic EMR experience required Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in Cath Lab required California CRRT state license required and must be in hand at time of submission (license required if applicable) ACLS, ARRT-R, BLS, and Fluoroscopy Permit required
CCI RCIS
certification preferred Epic charting experience required Trauma Level II experience preferred Proficiency in procedural responsibilities including venous access, vascular closure systems, hemodynamic monitoring, and left/right heart catheterization Experience with PCI, PTCA, TAVR, Watchman, and permanent pacemaker insertion preferred Experience with sterile technique, infection control, and PPE/isolation precautions required Must provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years Additional Information Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including PCI, TAVR, Watchman, and pacemaker insertions Responsibilities include room circulation, sterile field maintenance, equipment setup, and monitoring for life-threatening arrhythmias Scrubs provided First-time travelers will be considered for this role Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) RTO requests limited to no more than 7 days and must be submitted upfront Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius Former Providence facility employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must be located more than 50 miles from the facility Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities as needed
