Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Winton, California

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Travel Join an opportunity to work as a Cath Lab Tech specializing in diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures. This travel position is based near Winton, CA, supporting a growing cardiac catheterization program that currently operates one cath lab, soon expanding to two.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and assist with cath lab procedures including PCIs, peripheral interventions, diagnostic caths, nephrostomy tube placements, and IVC filters. Utilize fluoroscopy and imaging equipment in accordance with safety protocols. Collaborate with the clinical team to provide patient care and support during procedures. Help train and mentor new nursing staff in cath lab processes, leveraging your advanced clinical experience. Participate in cases averaging 0 to 5-6 per day, adhering to

ACLS, ARRT, BLS

certifications, and hospital standards. Utilize Cerner, Sensis, and Merge systems effectively in daily workflow.

Qualifications:

Current certification in ACLS, BLS, and ARRT; fluoroscopy experience required. Demonstrated experience in cath lab imaging technologies. Familiarity with balloon pumps preferred; STEMI experience is a plus. Ability to train and guide nursing staff in cath lab procedures. Willingness to work day shifts (8-hour shifts) with schedule variation based on patient volume. No call required; RNs will circulate, so scrubbing by techs is expected.
