1 Description American Traveler is hiring a CV Invasive Specialist for a Cardiac Cath Lab, requiring ARRT or RCIS certification and prior cardiology experience. Details Cardiac Cath Lab setting supporting invasive cardiovascular procedures 5x8 day shift schedule, 40 hours per week Uses Epic for charting Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred 1 year of experience in the specialty is required, with 2 years of Cardiology/Cath Lab experience preferred Registered ARRT required, or RCIS required within 18 months of hire, or Registered Respiratory Therapist with CV specific certification or RCES BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association required and must not expire before start date Fluoroscopy certification required Epic EMR experience required License required if applicable DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration Additional Information Provide technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures under RN supervision Assist physicians with radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures and act as scrub assistant while maintaining sterile conditions Operate imaging equipment and monitor/document procedure images and events from the control room Educate patients and families on procedure expectations and pre/post procedure care Maintain unit cleanliness and appropriate stock levels for procedures Complete daily, progress, and discharge documentation per department standards Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives Radiation badges must be supplied by the vendor Returning employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
