Troubleshoots and corrects recording instrument malfunctions or unusual patient problems that interfere with recordings. Independently prioritizes clinical and administrative work and identifies process improvements. Processes patient and department records, ensuring documentation of performed tests in accordance with hospital standards. Assists physicians in performing specialized cardiovascular procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation, and electrophysiology studies. Evaluates and documents patient status, responds appropriately, and intervenes or refers in a timely manner to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Associate [Preferred]

Field of Study:

N/A Work Experience:

• Cardiac diagnostic/interventional procedural experience, [Preferred]
• Experience in invasive cardiovascular technology [Preferred]

• Basic Life Support
• CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) [Preferred]
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) [Preferred]
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) [Preferred]
• Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) [Preferred]
