Job Description
GiaCare Inc. is accepting applications from experienced Cardiovascular Technicians for a future opportunity supporting Evans Army Community Hospital at Fort Carson, Colorado. This position is being recruited in anticipation of contract award. Qualified candidates will be considered for employment upon contract award. About the Opportunity Join a dedicated cardiology team providing high-quality diagnostic cardiovascular services to active duty service members, military retirees, and their families. This position offers the opportunity to perform non-invasive cardiac testing while supporting exceptional patient care in a military treatment facility. Schedule Full-Time Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-4:00 PM One-hour unpaid lunch No on-call Responsibilities Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs), Holter monitor placement, and ambulatory cardiac monitoring Conduct exercise stress testing in accordance with established protocols Prepare patients for cardiovascular diagnostic procedures Monitor patients during testing and recognize abnormal cardiac rhythms Maintain and calibrate cardiovascular diagnostic equipment Document patient information and testing results accurately Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support patient care Maintain compliance with infection prevention and patient safety standards Minimum Qualifications U.S. Citizen Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technician or Cardiovascular Technology program, or meet the education requirements outlined in the PWS Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Current certification as a Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) , Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) , Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) , or other certification required by the PWS Minimum experience required by the PWS in cardiovascular diagnostic testing Current, full, active, unrestricted license if required by state law Preferred Qualifications Experience performing stress testing and ambulatory cardiac monitoring Strong patient communication skills Experience with electronic medical records Why GiaCare?
