Experience:

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
Electrophysiology experience, including scrub and monitor skills, required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Two (2) years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab is preferred.
Required Credentials:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. One of the following credentials accepted: ARRT-Radiography (R), ARRT-Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV), ARRT-Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI), CCI-Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or CCI-Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES). Fluoroscopy Operator Registration required for RCIS and/or RCES; fluoroscopy is not required for candidates with ARRT.
Preferred Credentials:
Associate's degree preferred.
Unit Details:
Provides technical support in the cardiac catheterization laboratory during invasive cardiovascular procedures. Assists physicians with radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures, functions as a scrub assistant while maintaining sterile conditions, and operates imaging equipment in the control room while monitoring and documenting procedure images and events. Provides patient care under RN supervision and educates patients and families about pre- and post-procedure expectations.
Shift & Scheduling:
M-F with rotating day off. On-call weekdays and weekends. 14 days maximum time off 1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years Proof of identification required
Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support) RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certifications CI, (R), RCES, VI ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
