1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring at least 1 year of cath lab experience, active ARRT or RCIS certification, and AHA BLS and ACLS. Details Position is located in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab 4x10-hour day shifts with on-call required on both weekdays and weekends 40 hours per weekEMR:
Epic (charting) Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Cath Lab / Cardiology specialty required; 2 years preferred High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred One of the following certifications required: ARRT-Radiography (R), ARRT-Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV), ARRT-Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI), CCI-RCIS, orCCI-RCES
Candidates holding RCIS or RCES must also hold a Fluoroscopy Operator Registration Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required; must not expire prior to start date Active license required, if applicable DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration 2 references required for consideration Additional Information Provides technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures and assists physicians with radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular cases Acts as scrub assistant, maintaining sterile conditions during clinical procedures Operates imaging equipment and monitors and documents procedure images and events from the control room Educates patients and families on procedure expectations and pre/post procedure physical conditions Maintains appropriate stock levels for complex interventions and diagnostic procedures and assists with unit cleanliness and organization Participates in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives, including identifying potential safety hazards and process improvement opportunities Radiation badge to be supplied by the staffing agency/vendor Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignmentSimilar jobs in Lafayette, CO
