1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a travel contract in the South Denver area, requiring a minimum of 6 months of acute care Cath Lab experience along with ARRT, RCIS or RCES, and
BLS/ACLS
certifications. Details 272-bed hospital with 2 Cath suites staffed by 5 Techs and 6 RNs Phillips equipment used in both suites EMR systems include Meditech and Mac Lab Day shift staffed by 3-5 Techs and 2-4 RNs; night shift is on-call On-call requirement of approximately 7-8 days per month, including one weekend per month Rotating nights of call and weekends are required Requirements Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience within the last 6 months Current BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date) ARRT (R) required RCIS or RCES required Candidates holding RCIS or RCES must be willing and able to apply for registration as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with DORA prior to starting ARRT (CI) or (CV) preferred EP scrubbing experience preferred Prior Meditech experience preferred SSN and DOB required for consideration License required if applicable Additional Information Procedures include basic Cath Lab skills, scrubbing, monitoring, and Conscious Moderate Sedation EP scrubbing experience is a plus and candidates with this skill will be prioritized Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months The facility is located in the South Denver area, with nearby communities including Lone Tree, Highlands Ranch, Parker, and Castle Rock — all within a 30-minute call response range Team is described as experienced, collaborative, and fun — strong communication skills and the ability to manage stressful situations are valued
