Full Job Description Role Overview:
This position performs diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams to identify abnormalities, supporting patient diagnosis under physician supervision.Key Responsibilities:
Execute ultrasound protocols with technical proficiency. Schedule, prepare, and educate patients for exams, ensuring safety and comfort. Coordinate with medical staff and communicate patient needs throughout procedures. Document results accurately, apply appropriate charge codes, and maintain equipment and work area. Mentor team members and students, support quality improvement initiatives, and participate in ongoing education.Qualifications & Skills:
ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Proficiency in sonography, digital tools, clinical care, and patient instruction. Strong time management, risk management, and healthcare communication skills.Benefits
