Cardiac Catheterization Technologist | Hartford, Connecticut Soliant - 3.9 Hartford, CT Job Details Full-time | Contract $22.05 - $50.00 an hour 9 days ago Qualifications BLS Certification Cardiac catheterization ACLS Certification Basic life support Cath lab Full Job Description Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity seeks a skilled Cath Lab Technologist with expertise in imaging to support a dynamic cardiovascular team. The position involves 40 hours per week with on-call duties every third weekend and two weekdays, offering a balanced work schedule that includes weekday shifts from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and/or 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Key Qualifications:
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Technologist in Radiography (RT(R)) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) certification Valid Connecticut Department of Public Health (CT DPH) license

Responsibilities:
Perform cardiovascular imaging procedures in the catheterization laboratory Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures Ensure all equipment is prepared and functioning, maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols Monitor patient status and respond to emergency situations as needed Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies
Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Shifts:
7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and/or 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. On-call responsibilities every third weekend and two weekdays (weekends call every other week) This is a contract role ideal for professionals seeking a robust clinical experience with a reputable healthcare institution.
