Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Step into a crucial role supporting patient care in a dynamic cardiac cath lab environment. As an Invasive Technologist, you will use your specialized imaging and procedural skills alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team. This contract position is designed for professionals who thrive in fast-paced settings, and who are passionate about advancing cardiovascular health.
Schedule:
17-week assignment 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM shift On-call rotation based on unit needs Every third weekend required Two additional on-call days during the week
Qualifications:
Current BLS and ACLS certifications Valid RT(R) or RCIS credential required Previous experience working as a Cath Lab Technologist in an acute care environment Strong technical knowledge of invasive cardiac procedures and imaging equipment Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure, team-oriented settings
Key Responsibilities:
Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations and other interventional cardiovascular procedures Operate and monitor imaging and diagnostic equipment in line with established protocols Ensure patient comfort and safety before, during, and after procedures Prepare and maintain sterile fields and assists with inventory of supplies Adhere to regulatory standards, documentation, and infection control policies Participate in call rotations, responding promptly as needed to support urgent patient care Take the next step in your career and contribute your expertise to a thriving cath lab.
