1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel EP Technologist for a 13-week assignment in an Electrophysiology Lab, requiring at least 1 year of recent EP experience across various modalities. Details Position is located in a hospital-based Electrophysiology Lab within a 422-bed acute care facility EP Lab consists of 1 procedure lab staffed with 1 Tech and 2 RNs on day shift Patient ratio is 1:1 Procedures include ablations, EP studies, and device implants Equipment used includes GE, Carto, and Claris systems EMR is Meditech Shift is 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Traveler is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent EP Technologist experience; allied candidates must have active experience within the last 6 months Experience across various EP modalities required Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start US SSN and DOB required for consideration — no exceptions Two professional references required (Florida state requirement) License required if applicable Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — no local candidates accepted No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Perform EP studies, cardiac ablations, and device implants in a 1-lab EP setting Day shift team consists of 1 tech and 2 RNs Ideal candidate is a self-starter with a positive attitude Scrub color for Radiology staff is black
