Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to join our Cath Lab in Jacksonville, FL! This position presents a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures in a state-of-the-art facility. The RCIS must be obtained within 12 months of hire, supported by our dedicated team and resources. This is a Full-Time opportunity. This Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging and procedures. These include tests on cardiovascular systems of patients for diagnostic purposes. This Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist will also conduct or assist in electrocardiograms, catherizations, pulmonary functions. As a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist you will be responsible for: Performing diagnostic imaging and procedures Assisting in electrocardiograms, catherizations, and pulmonary functions Preparing EP Lab for acceptance of cardiac patients. Performing technical duties including scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring and recording of diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac cath, PTCA, stent, atherectomy, peripherals. Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist, Cath Lab, Experience; Experience working in a Hospital setting Less than 1 year Cath Lab experience.
Education & Credential Requirements:
High School Diploma Required Associates Degree Preferred Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required Basic Life Support (BLS) Required Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography ARRT (CI) Required Or Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required Or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required Or Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required This Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist will be located at Baptist Jacksonville.
