Baptist Health is seeking to add a Pulmonary Technologist to our Downtown location in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, day shift opportunity. At Baptist Health, a Registered Pulmonary Technologist is responsible for performing specialized pulmonary diagnostic testing and supporting physicians in the evaluation and treatment of patients with respiratory conditions. This role includes conducting pulmonary function testing, assisting with advanced procedures such as bronchoscopy, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of diagnostic equipment and results. The Pulmonary Technologist works closely with physicians and healthcare teams to provide safe, accurate, and high-quality patient care. As a Registered Pulmonary Technologist, you will be responsible for: Performing and completing pulmonary function testing, including stress testing Troubleshooting, calibrating, and performing quality control on PFT analyzers Drawing and analyzing arterial blood gases Assisting physicians with bronchoscopy procedures Supporting bronchoscopy procedures, including SD, EBUS, and robotic systems Assisting with monthly quality assurance (QA) reporting Maintaining accurate and complete documentation of testing and patient results
Education & Credential Requirements:
Certificate Required Associate of Science Preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) Required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred Or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Preferred Or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Preferred Or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Preferred Or Florida Licensed Respiratory Therapist Required If you are interested in this full-time, day shift opportunity, please apply now or contact .
