Location Overview:

Located in Miami's vibrant South Miami Avenue corridor, this hospital offers a modern second-floor Cath Lab unit with 33 beds and a dedicated team of 23 staff members. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment, including MacLab, GE, and Philips systems, and utilizes the Meditech documentation system to streamline clinical workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures including catheterizations, interventional coronary cases, structural heart interventions, and peripheral vascular procedures Collaborate closely with cardiologists, nurses, and support staff to ensure efficient patient care within a 3:1 patient ratio Operate and maintain specialized Cath Lab imaging equipment in compliance with safety and procedural standards Document all procedures accurately into electronic medical records Participate in on-call rotations covering evenings and weekends as required

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Current ACLS and BLS certifications mandatory Certified Vascular Technologist (CVT) or Radiology Technologist with experience in Cath Lab imaging Familiarity with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular imaging techniques Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Strong critical thinking skills and compassionate patient care approach

Schedule:

Day shift hours; no night shifts currently scheduled
