Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Travel Embark on an exciting opportunity as a Cath Lab Technologist, where expertise in imaging and cardiovascular procedures will make a difference every day. This contract position offers a dynamic and supportive environment where professionals are valued for their skills and commitment to high-quality patient care.
Key Qualifications:
Certified Radiologic Technologist or equivalent credential required Minimum of one year of recent experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting Strong proficiency using imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and digital angiography systems Thorough understanding of sterile techniques and radiation safety protocols Ability to monitor patients and assist physicians during interventional procedures Current ACLS and BLS certification Excellent communication and organizational skills
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time schedule; specific shifts may vary depending on facility needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare patients and operating rooms for catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, and other cardiovascular procedures Operate advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images Support physicians throughout diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Monitor patient status, document findings, and respond promptly to changes in condition Maintain accurate records, manage supplies, and ensure adherence to safety and infection control standards
