Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Travel Set against the vibrant backdrop of The Villages, FL, this travel assignment offers a blend of professional growth and leisure. This assignment provides an exceptional opportunity for cath lab technologists to expand clinical expertise and gain exposure to the newest equipment, such as GE lab, Impella, Balloon pump, Penumbra, and IVUS. The facility emphasizes state-of-the-art patient care and fosters a collaborative work environment where traveling clinicians learn from established leaders and bring fresh perspectives to advanced cardiovascular procedures.
Schedule/Hours:
Four 10-hour shifts, 7:00AM - 7:00PM, weekdays Rotating call required Occasional coverage at nearby sister facility for STEMI call
Responsibilities:
Conduct right and left heart catheterizations, both diagnostic and interventional Perform peripheral vascular diagnostic and intervention procedures Utilize Merge Hemo documentation system for accurate record keeping Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a 3-lab unit Support high standards of care with advanced cardiac technology Adhere to scheduling, call, and STEMI response protocols
Required Qualifications & Experience:
RCIS credential and active
ACLS/BLS
certification Minimum 2 years' experience working in a cath lab setting Strong foundation in electrophysiology (EP) procedures preferred Familiarity with contemporary lab equipment Proficiency in documenting through Merge Hemo Team-oriented mindset and professionalism
