Bonus Available Responsibilities:
Assisting the physician in performance of invasive electrophysiology procedures. Has basic knowledge of EP Lab equipment and the maintenance of it while administering direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Provides direct and indirect care during established procedures and sedation for patients.
Qualifications:
Education Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing Registered Nurse (RN) Required or Graduate of an accredited Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), EP program, Respiratory Therapist, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, or Radiology Technologist Required Work Experience No experience required If graduate of RCIS or EP program Required or 1 year EP, Healthcare Imaging, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, Respiratory, or RN if not a graduate of RCIS or EP program. Required Licenses and Certifications Based on healthcare experience (see above) applicable license Upon Hire Required or If a graduate of RCIS or EP program, Must obtain
RCIS/RCES
within 2 Years Required and BCLS -
Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and ACLS Upon Hire Required Business Unit :
