Qualifications:
Valid certification as a Surgical Technologist (CVOR specialty preferred) At least one year of recent experience in a CVOR surgical environment BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and sterile technique Excellent communication and teamwork skills Adaptable and responsive to a fast-paced OR environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare surgical suites and instruments for cardiovascular operations Assist the surgical team by anticipating needs during procedures Ensure maintenance and sterility of all operative instruments and equipment Monitor, count, and track supplies and materials used during surgery Participate actively in pre-op and post-op processes Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and families
