PRN Schedule Cardiac Cath Lab Dept Non-Benefits Eligible Overview Since 1937, Alton Memorial Hospital has cared for residents in Alton, Illinois, and the surrounding communities in a five-county area. Starting as a land gift to the community from the Smith family, Alton Memorial today is a full-service acute care hospital. Alton Memorial offers patients a variety of inpatient and outpatient services, including surgery services, medical imaging, interventional and diagnostic heart services, cancer care, rehabilitation, 24-hour emergency care, ambulance services and more. The cardiac cath department consists of highly experienced staff that performs cardiac catheterization of the heart for heart disorders. Pacemakers and ICD s are inserted in this department to enable the human heart to function properly. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control. Responsibilities Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area. Minimum Requirements Education Associate or Trade School Equi Experience No Experience Supervisor Experience No Experience Licenses & Certifications IEMA - Illinois only, excl
