POSITION SUMMARY

Assists physicians with performance of invasive cardiac procedures, serving as a radiologic technologist and/or scrub assistant, performing hemodynamic monitoring and procedural charting. Assists in the care, transportation and preparation of patients. Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• High School diploma or G.

E.D. required.

Licensure/ Certification:

• Licensed in Radiology by the State of Illinois Division of Nuclear Safety (IEMA)
• Requires Registry from ARRT
• CPR certification required.

Other Skills/ Knowledge:

• Knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and procedures as acquired through completion of 2 years training in an approved school of radiologic technology required.
• General computer knowledge.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• Successful completion of EKG arrhythmia course preferred.

Licensure/ Certification:

• Successful completion of ACLS preferred.
