Responsibilities:
Operate and quality-check sophisticated imaging equipment in the cath lab setting. Assist interventional cardiology teams during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for optimal patient care. Ensure accurate imaging and documentation during all procedures. Maintain high standards of sterile technique and infection control. Support patient preparation, education, and recovery in collaboration with nursing and medical staff. Troubleshoot equipment and report any technical issues promptly.
Qualifications:
Current ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification required. Recent experience working as a Cath Lab Tech in an imaging or hospital environment. Proficiency in cardiac catheterization procedures and familiarity with radiation safety protocols. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively under pressure. BLS and ACLS certifications (as required by facility).
