Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Advance your career in diagnostic imaging as a specialized professional in a dynamic Cath Lab setting. This contract opportunity offers the chance to showcase your expertise in catheterization laboratory technology within a collaborative healthcare environment dedicated to quality patient care.
Schedule:
3x12 hour shifts, daytime hours
Required Qualifications:
Graduate from an approved School of Radiology Active BLS certification; ACLS preferred Valid Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety license Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification At least one year of direct patient care experience Ability to complete radiation safety courses within 90 days of hire
Role Responsibilities:
Perform complex diagnostic imaging procedures specific to the cardiac catheterization laboratory Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed Assist physicians during cardiac and vascular procedures by providing real-time imaging and support Monitor patient status and respond promptly to clinical needs throughout procedures Adhere to all regulatory and facility guidelines regarding patient safety, imaging standards, and record-keeping Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care delivery
